by Connie L. on This was the second stop on the Hollywood Club Crawl. We came at about 10:30 and there was no line. We get in, and we hear hip hop! yeahh! partyyy! We go to the bar, order some drinks and start dancing. YeAHH! Tonight's going to be a good night. Tonight's the night! Let's live it up! I got my money! Let's spend it up! ....SILENCE....2 seconds later Feeling so fly like a G6. Like a G6! uhhh...okay maybe something's wrong with his equipment? Maybe he's warming up? He did that about 3 times, and I figured he did not know how to transition from song to song. But after the 3rd time, I guess he got his groove, cuz he didn't do it again for the rest of the time I was there. Practice makes perfect, Mr. DJ. Keep working on it, and you'll be good one day!
by Isidro Krahe on meh... this place was talked up a lot by my friends but i wasn't really feeling it. nothing bad by any means, just nothing spectacular, you know? we went on a thursday night and stayed until close. front bar was playing the popular 80's and the back was playing alt-80s like Morressey (i liked that room and crowd more than the front). i dunno.. nice people, but generic in personalities, music, vibe, etc. I'd probably only go back with the group again, definitely wouldn't seek it plan my own night out there .
