by A G. on Great prices, country music on the PA and football on TV. Great selection of drafts. Killer whiskey specials on Wednesday. Great bartenders. Come as you are. A year since I first stepped into this place, it's still one of my favorite places in Austin.
by Scot Visser on What's to like about this place? This is a bar, not a nightclub. People go to bars to talk and not to listen to music. When I came here the music was too loud to comfortably have a conversation and therefore this place fails at the basic level as a bar. I seem to remember the beers being $5 a pint so they were about %25 too expensive for the location and venue. The bartender was fairly unfriendly. They have a sign outside advertising Czechvar but when I asked for it the guy looked at me like I was insane. Since the place was nearly empty on a Saturday night I don't think I'm the only person that doesn't like it. I don't see any set of circumstances that would lead to me returning.

But from all the venues that I've worked at in Hollywood, they have the nicest bartenders and staff!!! But remember I'm on the other side of the rope so your personal experiences are yours. Capacity hits over 2500, amazinggggg sound system, huge main room, smaller rooms to the side and upstairs and a nice big patio with an enormous buddah in the corner. And BARS GALORE! It's a huge venue so you don't have to worry about not getting in. The atmosphere is pretty chill...but on those crazy nights, fair warning it gets pretty disgusting. But I guess thats really any venue if you pack it tons of drunken people dancing. I love this place, Cheers! Fridays are nights with Visionshock, I won't blast but this is the night that I work. Hip hop music and house/trance usually in the patio or upstairs. Saturdays are when they have amazing djs Armin Van Burren, Kaskade, G&D, David Guetta..and the list goes on. Sunday is Deep, haven't been in a long time but I hear it's pretty good.
