I have mixed feelings about this place because it ended up being a fun night but at a price. That price would be $1,000. We arrived early and were on a guest list but apparently we were too big of a group to get in through a list..(huh?) Maybe we should have broken up into small troops? So after a few chilly minutes standing in line outside with friends trying to plead with bouncers...we gave in and bought the bottle. Because magically, you're never too big for table service. Oh, but wait, yes we were. As the group walked in, we were stopped and told that one bottle was not enough for this many and that a second bottle was required. So, cut chase, $$$$ later, a dark booth in the corner and a few bottles of gross mixers later, we're warm and dancing inside. The place was nice, definitely well managed inside but pretty damn dead for 11:30 on a Saturday night....or midnight...or 1:30 when we finally gave up on the young DJ "ADD" spinnin' 30 second iTunes samples. The DJ before him was great, then I guess he let his apprentice have a go. Definitely won't be back, but when you're surrounded by great friends, it's hard not to have a good time.

This place is nothing special. If you want chinese take out food but don't feel like being around chinese people then this is probably the place for you. It's very clear this place isn't catered towards Chinese customers because there are no chopsticks! that's about it.

I'm still not sure what this place is? A bar? An Ethiopian restaurant?? The basement of that really cool kid in High School who's parents had the home made bar where you could sneak shots from dusty bottles all the while talking about how one day you'll have a basement bar like this of your own??? Well the bottles aren't dusty here and the food is amazing, what a wonderful place to pass the time with good friends. Here's to good friends, tonight is kinda special..... now i feel sappy.
