by Mike R. on GETTING IN: Rather annoying.. usually a massive crowd which is odd considering its a huge club space wise.. very hard to get into without knowing a promoter/getting a table.. a rather pain THE CROWD: Certainly decent.. a rather typical hollywood crowd thats rather diverse with a good amount of hipsters mixed in.. been here a few times and its certainly spanned a range, with certain times it feeling like a high % of guys vs girls.. odd considering the door policy THE CLUB: Its big, that much is for sure.. a large outdoor area greets you upon entering with a more intimate lounge/dance area in the back of floor one... floor 2 is a very large dance area with a bar/out doorish area attached.. the 2nd floor gets VERY packed and is the more wild part of the club..if your going with a table by FAR the one to get is an elevated one next to the dance floor on the 2nd floor. All in all not the greatest decor wise but not bad. OVERALL: A solid large club with decent music, decent crowd, and as long as you can get it an overall fun time
by Kathyrn Klunk on This place is about 50ft away from my building.. I was overjoyed when the former Dominican troublesome nightclub closed down and this nice clean restaurant opened... They did a great job on decorating.. I went to the grand opening... I ordered the rotisserie chicken with white rice/bean and a salad side of fries and my b/f got the chicharron mofongo with seafood salad... the food took almost an hour to get to our table and unfortunately it was ice cold..My b/f had to tell the waitress in Spanish and she just grabbed it and brought it back while the owner came over and apologized... she brought it back a few minutes later... The rotisserie chicken was really good...the white rice alone was tasty I didn't care for the beans at all.. my salad consisted of a thick slice of lettuce and a thick slice of an unripe tomato (don't get the salad) with no dressing... the fries were ok but I could taste everything else that they fried that night... The mofongo was really good minus the ox tail gravy they gave with it....the seafood salad was completely overcooked and greasy.. we had a few coronas which were cheap they have a fully stocked bar and make every drink imaginable...and then a band came on.. don't get me wrong I'm not really into Spanish music as i don't speak the language but the beats were great until some 4' 11" guy got on the mic and started screaming... it was my time to go....
