by Holly J C. on I love this club. If you're a rock n rolla, go downstairs. It's dark and lit with red lighting. There is a bar and the type of rock music that everyone knows. You won't hear Korn, but you won't be forced to listen to the top 40 either. It's cool if you're a rock chick who likes to dance (like myself). If you really want to go crazy you can go upstairs. You'll have hip hop and techno. Another go-go dancer, flashing lights. Jam packed but lots of room and everyone is dancing. Go up another level and its latin infused inspired music. It's a good place to start off the night, lounge and get your drink on. Its a big place and honestly, if you know the places to where you can get discounts to get it, its a fun place. They have coat check too and large bathrooms (another plus).
by Delilah Higney on Could be better. Bubble lounge is really a nice place to chill. However, this place can get way too crowded. There is usually a good mix of people, however the older crowd usually hangs out upstairs and the youngins are downstairs in the small dance floor with a super low ceiling where anyone who is above 6'5" has to duck! Drink selection is not that great and be prepared to empty your wallet. Avoid the small bar downstairs at all cost. It is one of the most pathetic bars I've ever seen. You do not have much selection at the downstairs bar. I asked the bartender what is the strongest drink they could make. They replied "red bull vodka". Are you serious? I was frustrated waiting to even get helped at the bar so I just ordered the darn thing. Next thing you know the bartender charges me 12 dollars. Who the heck charges 12 dollars for a red bull vodka? The thing was watered down too. Very disappointed. If you are going to drink, order from the bar upstairs. They do have an interesting selection of champagne cocktails if that is what you are into. There is a huge champagne selection because that is what they are known for. However, if you did not reserve bottle service or a get a table, I don't think you want to enjoy your champagne leaning on a vacant pillar or wall. Don't get me wrong, this place is hop'n and there's a good crowd on fri and sat nights. Why is it so crack'n if the drinks aren't that great? It is a nice place to chill because there is no cover. Probably. The place has got potential.
