I've been twice for 2 very different events (one was celebrating the release of Goapele's new website and the other was a hella dope soul party with DJ Spinna). Goapele had a young crowd and it wasn't really engaging. Great drinks though. DJ Spinna? More than made up for my first lackluster experience. Crowd was ROCKING and so was he! I got to munch of some tasty tempura and these AMAZING fries! Drinks? Dope. Music? Live. And the space is BEAUTIFUL! I would love to come here for a sit-down meal next time I'm in SF. If it's what I imagine it to be, they will have a perfect 5-star rating from me in the future! As far as their special events are concerned, "Yay! I'm a fan." It's a legendary venue in a cultural hotspot. A must stop.
