I went here for an impromptu Girl's night out for an event called "Bootie." The lounge had a great set up--two stories with a bar upstairs and a trance/alternative room. Downstairs was another bar with hip hop playing weaved in by a live band. The live band performances were too slow to dance too, and they just kept talking. They weren't aware of the fact that the audience wasn't into it, and didn't engage us. The band members mainly talked to each other on stage, and they seemed like they were too cool for school. They never said who they were, and didn't explain why they were there. There was another "show" with sex toys and other weird props and people dressed up in eclectic costumes. This also slowed down the night because there was no dance-able music. If you're going to have a band/show perform, it shouldn't take up a lot of time, especially since I don' t think anyone was there to see the band or show....we just wanted to dance.

If you're not paying attention, you'll think you just walked into Club Rouge! But hidden off the side, you'll find Nick's Crispy Tacos. Their carnitas tacos were pretty tasty, although I have had better. But their best taco is the baja-style fish tacos. Two corn tortillas, a big fat piece of fish battered and fried to perfection, coleslaw, avocado and salsa. Not much more can be better than that. Even after eating my two tacos, licking my fingers, and eating all the pieces that fell on my plate, I was wanting more. Absolutely delicious! The location is ok, although it draws some of the douchey customers from nightclub. Parking in the area can be challenging, but definitely try out the tacos from this place if you're in the area.

I love Rockband Sundays and I've been going for the past couple of weeks. I'm hoping to make it a weekly ritual if my friends can keep up with the routine. The bar is pretty empty on Rockband night which is pretty sweet in my opinion because you get to go up more often. The crowd changes. One time it was douche-ey. One time the bar was filled with gin and scotch types. It doesn't really affect me so long as I have the axe for the night.
