OMG! This place is SO overrated!! As many have mentioned the snooty Doormen are such A-Holes! They make people wait so long and 'if' you are good looking enough they let you in (eventually). My friends and I got in fairly soon but you have to be pro-active to get the Doormen's attention.*** FYI: Drai's and the W Hotel is also connected with the Vice Squad of Hollywood. Don't even think of doing anything stupid there as many undercover cops troll the place including the W Hotel bar. They will try and sell you drugs, follow you if they believe you are drunk when you leave, and even ask if you want to have sex for money  to bust you. I have heard HORROR stories about this place. The drinks are too expensive, the people snooty and rude and well. My advise? go anywhere but Drai's and the W Hotel.

My friend says that this is the place to go by DEFAULT at nights when you don't know where else to go. I didn't know why until I came. I like it because: +No cover: of course, that's always a plus! +Nice ambiance. I really like the upstairs lounge area. It's got really classy looking red couches, and it's spacey and not super crowded. I came on a Saturday night and I wasn't suffocating, unlike at 5A5 xP +Separate lounge and clubbing area, so you can choose to hangout at the chill area or the more crowded area if u wanna just dance and drink +pretty decent drinks: i tried the midori sour & sex on the beach and both tasted pretty good. so i'm thinking they make yummy girly fruity drinks =] The cons that I would have to mention is that I don't really like the lower level dance floor, aka the dungeon. It's kinda stuffy and super dark so feels a bit shady. The drinks are also on the pricier end, but still not too bad I would say. Agreed that this is the default club/lounge to go to =]
