Liars Club - About Us
Liars Club feels like a New York punk club, minus all the punks,it has a capacity of 440,a unique layout,with a DJ stand rising over a sunken bar and bathrooms that give you a glimpse into the other sex\\\'s area— where men and women can peep into the other’s bathroom(but not too much of a glimpse).The commode areas are screened,but the view might be interesting if someone forgets to pull themselves together before rounding the corner from the toilet to the sink area.The walls are covered with flyer-style posters for the Who,Iggy Pop and other acts of the 1960s,\\\'70s and\\\'80s.Concert posters adorn the walls, pinball machines ring along the south wall and waitresses and bartenders, dressed in ties, white oxford shirts and plaid skirts, look like they were just dropped off from prep school.

by Josephine A. on I was fortunate enough to tag along some friends who had connections to get in without a hitch or waiting in line. Otherwise, I'm not sure if I would have been able to get in the way I was dressed on friday night. Anyhow, when you walk in and look around to see the rustic, romantic décor, the mood elicits one to walk with an unquestionable air of confidence. But if you already possess that quality regardlessly, then the inside is just nice and semi-dark. The place is rather huge with labyrinth-like pathways that lead you to secret rooms (toward the back of the establishment, past the restrooms) into a spacious dance floor with disco lights, another full bar, another DJ spinning his tracks, and a small stage. So in all, I counted 4 large areas, and a couple of moderately sized rooms to accommodate bottle service groups. In sum, the DJs ranged from satisfactory to good, the drinks were smooth and palatable, and I saw plenty of leggy, bottle blondes wearing ultra mini-dresses with great cleavage. The non-blonde patrons also primped themselves prettily. Lastly and most importantly, I was able to bust more than a few moves on the dance floors, so.... Yay, I'm a fan.
