This place is a frigin' summer dream.  If your stuck in NYC for the summer there is no better spot than being on a barge out on the water drinking beer.  The bartenders were great.  The food was excellent.  The beer was cold and delicious. Some people have complained about the bathrooms but honestly what do u expect when you're on a barge/boat.  They were fine.  I grew up in the Rockies and outhouses are bad, not this place. There is character to this place like no other. And that's why it fits in New York so well.  Cause most New Yorkers can appreciate character

Although they opened ~1.5 weeks ago, they really dont have any kinks they really need to work out judging from their attentive service! We had a group of 10, and at first they only offered us family style, which works out if everyone likes the same thing, but when youre with picky eaters, it gets tricky choosing the dishes to order. The waiter immediately asked the manager if we could order from the regular menu, and he/she ok-ed it. Service- AWESOME. We had 2 servers- one who was visibly nervous (heh heh) and one who was so laid-back. Both were really gracious esp considering that they were servicing the 9 guys who were practically inhaling the complimentary bread. It was my friend's birthday and besides getting happy birthdays from the waiters, he also got 2 little boxes of lemon cookies and chocolate strawberries to take home. The "today and tomorrow" deal is a steal- $12.95 to choose a pasta from a select portion of the menu, and they will pack another one for you to take home (you can choose 2 different pastas). The pasta selection can be very limited to those who dont feel complete unless theres meat at every meal (me). - Baked ziti & sausage- This was my choice for the one for "tomorrow". I reheated it in the oven per the given instructions, and surprisingly it was still fresh. Italian food is the best reheated genre of foods IMO. Anyway, the pasta still had a great bite to it, and I would probably order this again. - Rigatoni D- YUM! This is my favorite out of all the dishes I tried. It's not on the "today and tomorrow" menu though. Its a cream-based chicken and mushroom pasta that had a surprisingly clean flavor and didnt feel heavy at all. The portions are HUGE btw. Barely any of the boys actually finished their dishes. I guess that could have been from the bread... -Appetizer: Crispy Onion Strings- It was good when it was hot, but like all fried foods, once it gets cold, it starts to feel like youre chewing on oily mush. The onion flavor wasnt overpowering since they were really really thinly sliced onions. We got 2 for the table and that was more than enough. This place is also a little hard to find, so its useful to know that its right next to Dillards. Also, I parked in Dillards lots (thanks, Dillards!) which I found to be more convenient than parking in the garage especially during busier times.
