the most European spot on our cosmopolitan island these days - beautiful gardenesque lounge area full of older men and racially diverse models (I really mean models and lots of them), great music and vibe on the weekend nights, Fridays are usually better. the club area feels out out of place - it is almost like they ran out of money with a lounge and had to equip this room on the cheap. awesome dj if you are into house, but not my cup of tea

I love this place, whatever room you choose to drunkenly dance in is awesome. Added bonus is if you check the site often, you can find $1 daze ($1 admission & $1 vodka drinks... not top shelf but it does the job ... before 12am). So take advantage of this deal with our crappy economy. Only downer is the creepy guys but you'll get that anywhere at any club in the city. Bring your girls

Spice Market has its ups and its downs. It's a very nice restaurant inside the classy W Hotel - the service is outstanding and the food was decent. They emphasize that everything on their menu is meant to be shared, family style. The waitress was extremely helpful in helping us choose our menu items, giving us recommendations and detailed descriptions of each of our choices. The ambiance is very conducive for conversation - the outer edge tables surround a lounge-like central seating area adjacent to the bar. The lighting is a bit dim, but it adds to the atmosphere. The portion sizes are relatively small - two friends and I had to order three appetizers, three entrees, and two desserts to get our fill. The check was substantial - $150 pre-tip for a group of three, not really worth it even considering that we shared a bottle of wine. But theoretically, you get what you pay for: they treat you like a valued customer even if it's your first time. I doubt I'd go back there on my own tab, but the quality Asian fusion was an interesting part of my time in Atlanta.
