5/2010 Memoridal Day Weekend My friend made reservation here and I was excited because....i absolutely love SEAFOOD :) Ordered: -Oyster shooter with a splash of saki....yummy -2 dozen raw oysters forgot which we had -Prime rib entre -Steak entre -Hawaiian fish entre Overall, the food was salty/small portion but still decent. After dinner, we head to Butterfly Lounge in SF. Seafood and liquor? I knew it wasn't a smart mix...but boyyyy did my stomach rumbled later in the next few hours. Needless to say i had....diarrhea :[. Perhaps, bad food mixed with liquor = bad idea lol! [Positives]: Not pack for Memorial Day Weekend, nice staff, clean, nice interior, have a dj booth, Oyster shooters off the hook :), raw oysters fresh [Negatives]: Food was salty, small portions for entres

I'm not really into Spanish rock, but my best friend's friend's band had a show here last week, so a group of us headed out on a Thursday to support. Be warned: parking STINKS!! We drove around forever on Adams and the side streets looking for a spot before we squeezed my friend's car into a spot not really meant for a car his size, then we had to haul ass a few blocks to the cafe. One of my friends couldn't find a spot at all so she ended up going back home. It's really tiny inside and for some reason, people like to stand right in front of the door which makes it hard to come in and out. They only have beer and wine, and since I'm not a fan of either, I had to drink Coronas and PBRs all night. Okay, I didn't have to drink, but a friend bought them so I couldn't be rude, right? Right. There's not much seating, so come early if you're here to see bands. They have a small dance floor which got crazy when they started a mosh pit. The sound is really good here so this is a great spot for an intimate show. There's only one stall in the women's restroom but there were no lines for the bathroom at all, which was strange. It was pretty clean but they had no toilet paper. Do they not know how rough paper towels can be on lady parts? Apparently not. I'd come back if a band I knew was playing, but I wouldn't go out of my way to drop by, especially with the horrendous parking and lack of liquor at the bar.
