by Duncan Saggione on After almost a decade I return to this hole in a wall lounge - it's a good place with music. It was great when I first went in a decade ago and it continues to carry on it's legacy. When I first entered something hit me hard, like I was to remember something. As my friends arrived, ohh crap I've been here before when I was in my early 20's with a different set of friends that are married and now have kids. The music is as awesome as it was when i first came here and it continues to be awesome. It's still crowded and drinks are great as always. Only thing that changed here is the price of drinks. Maybe I'm getting a little old, but it get really crowded n hot in there. Everyone is stepping on everyone's foot. It takes a while to get a drink to, but once you get a drink it's strong. The music is late 90's hip hop and reggae, to my likings.
by Robert Mazella on Reminds me of a Dave and Buster's. I thought the concept was really great.. there's literally something there for everyone. I didn't mind the cover band so much (they played the Killers) and I didn't have to pay a cover though we arrived at 11:30pm (but my boyfriend did and was not too happy about it.. such is life! :P) What I DID mind was the fact that the place was really pretty dirty.. felt like the floors were sticky and people were spilling shit everywhere. I also didn't appreciate how sloooooooow the bartenders were. Oh and the fact that the place closed at 1:30am.. but I guess that's LA for ya :P

First of all, if you look at the front of the club, you'd think it's some old theater that plays Chinese Kung Fu movies. =P The entrance is in the back. Staff/door people are pretty cool. We got there a little early but they stamped us and we went back to our car to drink. They told us most of the people get there around 12 or so. The sound system is pretty nice for such a small venue. Definitely felt the bass go boom! Drinks are Hollywood prices (whatever you can interpret that as). In-n-outs all night long! Crowd is very mixed and just down to have a good time. This place is REALLY DARK, so if you're on a blind date and it's just not going to well on your eyes..come here.. itll fix things quick! =) Plenty of booths around for you to sit. There is no patio so you gotta walk back out and take a smoke and come back in. Extra .5 star for the cute chic hitting on me. =D
