by Neta Magaha on I went to Boulevard3 on Saturday, November 13th for the first time. I parked across the street and parking was probably $10.00 or a little less. I didn't bring my coat inside since we parked directly across the street for this place. I made reservations in advance and arrived at midnight. There were only 4 people ahead of me in the line and didn't really have to wait but a minute. The cover charge was $20.00. When we first walked in Boulevard3 my BF thought that was it, he didn't know that there were other parts of the club. The DJ played really good music that you could dance to. This club had a very nice ambiance. The bartender hooked me up with the cranberry and vodka because it didn't take much to get me tipsy. LOL it was probably because I had a glass of Purple Moon red wine before I left the hotel. I did get a chance to experience the chocolate covered strawberries and tacos at the end. OMG be careful when walking downstairs to the ladies room! I slipped and fell on my butt! No one really saw me, but glad that it was near the restroom and not near the main entrance! I think we paid $66.00 for about 4-5 drinks. BTW they have performers that dance on stage and it was really cool to watch them. There was some girl throwing up while walking the steps...that's SO not classy! But I guess you have to when you can't handle your alcohol!
by Tai Antolin on yeah i have to say i was impressed by Avenue. Very beautiful venue, very good crowd and very good DJ ...i love their small lounge upstairs. Definitely among the best joint in NYC right now with 1oak Jane hotel and Boom Boom
by Victoria G. on The bathroom is extremly clean and very nice in the terms of that it is well stocked and very modern. The decor is nice and I like how they have two bars- one in the back and one in the front. However, there is not much of a dance scene because the floor area is very small. It is heavily asian populated and no one really can dance but they just crowd around each other in herds to 'talk'. We had our private booth cause it wasn't that crowded. I'm glad I didn't have to pay cover otherwise I would have been mad. Beware of the creepy 'promoters' who try to crowd your space. Don't get mad just because we ignore you! NEWS FLASH-dont get all up in my grill if you're trying to get at me. Be alittle slick and know how to be suave atleast. We knew the girl in front who does the guestlist so that's the reason why we came. The atmosphere was lacking but the staff was super nice.
