by Diego Aispuro on I've never been here. I just wanted to comment on the pitiful sight outside of here on a nightly basis. I mean you expect a line of skanks and douchebags, but this place reeks of desperation and awfulness. Every night I pass by here I see people groveling and hoping to get in to somehow validate themselves because they heard there's cool kids inside. Save yourself some time and just go have a wino piss on you down the street, at least you'll have some dignity left.
by Williams Hinds on You may find the crowd to be severely variable in size but the music is usually pretty good, and the bartenders are super friendly. Anyways smaller crowd means more space to dance : ) There's not a massive sign outside so you could miss this place entirely as you are rolling down the street. Also please show more skiing documentaries where people light themselves on fire
by Lee H. on Vertigo is definitely not a place to take a group of 35+ after 11 on a Saturday night. When we went to check it out the weekend before, it looked like the perfect neighborhood place complete with dancing, not too fancy, but with a decent crowd. However, we were there a lot earlier in the evening. The place was absolutely packed. Of course that didn't stop our group from storming the bar and dance floor. At one point I looked up and spotted a girlfriend standing on top of a bench getting her groove on. Anything goes at Vertigo.
