by Alyssa Z. on The themed rooms are F*@#ING COOL ... AND I just heard DJ Allier is going to be the lounge karaoke host and doing his video mixes on Wednesday nights starting tomorrow! OH HELL YEAH, He's the S#!T! What a great way to let out my Hump Day frustrations.... I can't wait!
by Gwen Templeton on tThis club is whatever. I went on a bad night, didnt know anyone at the door, and it was an 18+ event which I really wasnt aware of until i got there...promotors were horrible. Why does security and promotors make the patrons wait in a line where there is 20 people in the club? okay, maybe I understand the fact you want it to seem like your party is crackin, but 45 min - 1 hour wait is just ridiculous! All i gotta say is, for hollywood clubs...make sure you got juice at the door (w/security or promotors) That's just the way it works out there... The club itself has a nice layout...a huge dance floor and VIP areas in the front and to the side of the bars. Drinks are strong, depends on what you get and which bartender serves you. The music was alright, played lots hard rap and dirty south stuff, some too short (dope!) which i didnt mind, I just wasnt feelin it that night! The crowd was okay, 18+ LOL. I was a little annoyed by the rude and immature guys here. I have experienced way better at this club....it was just one of those nights! 2 stars..thats all you get sugar.
by Gertrudis Purter on hmmm.. the crowd here was really weird... there were alot of really old men who seemed to be tagging along with younger men .... alot of cougars were hanging out by the bar and dancing to the weird barmitzvah greek indian i dont really know what they were thinking kinda music. this place is kind of like a restaurant trying to be a club or a barscene tyring to be a resturant... but whatever the case it was kind of weird to see people dancing at the dining tables.... well i dont think you are supposed to dance period, but that didnt stop anybody from trying... i cant say for the house specials but the drinks were actually GREAT... i think that is what made the experience.. . ive had MANY b-52s and almost no one gets it right. very few if any has made it as good as buddha bar! I also had a tasty mojito and kamikaze. neither one was too sweet or too bitter. juuuust right. if you want to get in just make sure to get a dinner reservation and be prepared to spend 50$ + head for dinner and drinks. for a trendy NY place thats really not bad at all.
