Hiro, located at the meatpacking district of NY is a definite recommendation i give for my friends who ever visits the city. decor is nice. music is decent. a good vibe. drinks are typically new york price: to give you a general idea red bull vodka is about 14 dollars and if you use card it's 30 minimum. I know this fact cuz my grl brought these 3 drinks to us and yelled "HERE, this guy that bought me drinks had to use credit card... drink up!" been here about 3 times. always had a good time. my only recommendation and wish to this place is that they should seriously consider clearing the chairs/tables around the dance floor. It gets quite aggravating when you see people knocking on them by the end of the night. 4-stars. bravo.

This review is for the nightclub only. The bouncers were extremely rude, arrogant, and had no clue. There was commotion downstairs between the guestlist & VIP line, as we signed up for both & our friends already reserved a VIP table. The lady downstairs w/ the clip board was a dump truck & not professional, yet trying to look the part. Getting on the list & arriving before 11pm does not mean shit, as they still want your money. I agreed to pay $5 but no more would I pay for a wannabe Vegas club! The poor people in line were willing to pay $20 cover. The DJ sucked playing Bon Jovi & the lollipop song - he thought he was the shizznit lol. The place got hot so quick, there wasn't a fan or AC nearby - it was a sauna. Our waitress acknowledged our drink order & advised she would be back - NOT! She couldn't multi-task worth a crap. Much thanks to Tony who was extremely pleasant w/ our entrance fiasco. Meeting him was the only positive thing! Their staff require serious training on customer service & answering simple questions. I am not opposed to dining here someday, as their menu looks good & happy hour is reasonable.
