by Lori J. on Everytime I come to visit Brooklyn, my family and I try something new and Vive El Toro is new and GREAT! We were greeted at the front door and warmly invited in. We had a stroller and newborn with us and they were very excited to serve us all. We tried the Avocado fries to start. Yummy! I've never had anything like it. Chips and salsa were complimentary and very good. For our entrees, we had fish tacos (delicious and satisfying), Chile Rellanos (spicy, cheesy and tasty), Norteno Burrito (scrumptious, gooey but could use some extra kick). they have a great selection of Mexican beers on tap and the Sangria is well done. Even the ice tea received our kudos. Service was attentive and friendly but not over-bearing. they really wanted us to enjoy ourselves. BONUS! FREE MECHANICAL BULL RIDES! woo hoo! can't ask for anything better, especially consider I know of no others in the area. I rode the bull and had a blast. I highly suggest people in the neighborhood and beyond come check out Vive el Toro. Family friendly, good eats, comfortable and clean environment, great setting for large groups, and fun for all ages!
