Although this may sound surprising, the Jewish suburbs of Detroit have fantastic Americanized and authentic Chinese restaurants. They are the kind of places where the waitress seats you in either an American or Chinese room depending on her assessment, but don't take that as an insult. High quality americanized Chinese food is VERY hard to come by in NYC. Basics like crispy orange chicken are excellent at TAO. Not too much breading, and juicy thick chunks of chicken with a balanced and tasty sauce create a delightful Orange chicken:) Unfortunately, no one will go with me to Tao because it is generally an over priced tourist trap:(

I know, I wanted to slap MYSELF in the face but hey, straight vodka isn't awesome for the first drink of the night when you can still taste them. Obviously the night went uphill from here. $1.69 Longnecks and Bar Drinks 7-9. Thirty vodkas later I was willing to dance with that creepy 50 year old who wouldn't stop asking us to dance. In the end, our tabs were MAYBE $30 or so and I've never drank that much in my life. My only complaint would be the lack of attractive men to accompany me on the dance floor. BYOM (bring your own man)
by Andre N. on Looking at the last review ...makes me think of my exprience me an my friend were guys we dress trendy ties on fittied jeans but i think out problem was we didnt have any women with us. we went there on a thursday Night . the door man said that going to be 20 to get in ..lol we thought was free cover on "chris Ac list" guess not so we left ....
