I came here awhile back with a large group of friends. Although, I had fun with my friends and didn't exactly have the best experience ever. First off, when I was at the bar waiting to order a drink, a guy rudely bumped into me and me being the feisty girl that I am, I snapped at him, "Excuse me!" That didn't really sit well with his girlfriend who snapped back at me, "Well look around you because the bar is quite crowded. So welcome to LA!" Well I sure as hell didn't take that so well so we got into a verbal altercation that had to be broken up by my friends. I would've thrown my drink at her if one of my guy friends didn't grab it out of my hand beforehand. Pssh! Despite the few inconsiderate patrons, the place was pretty nice with a mixed crowd. I found the drinks a little pricey, but I guess that's expected for LA. I like how the place is spacious with high ceilings, which allows good ventilation because I hate going to clubs and getting sticky from sweat. If you come with a mixed group of males and females, it's best to come here a little earlier because you'll probably end up waiting in line for a bit. When I came, I arrived with several girlfriends and we were immediately pulled from the line and brought inside after waiting less than 5 minutes. I felt like I was in Vegas. Would I come back here again? Probably not. It was certainly an interesting night but I think I'd rather spend the evening at the Association instead.

I remember going to this place when it was called Chamblee lanes, and I have to say, the renovation took this place from bowling alley, to bowling palace! Seriously, where have you ever seen granite counter-tops and mood lighting in a bowling alley? I do have to point out, though, that the increased attention to internal aesthetic does mean a longer wait, and an increased price on booze and food. I am not really complaining, since there are other bowling alleys that charge just as much but aren't as nice. I totally agree with Lori though, this thing is way up at the TOP of the perimeter, and is on an access road. Somewhat hard to find if you don't know where you are going, or if you are afraid of going near the perimeter (as I am!).
