by joseluis a. on came here for the LAMC. the stage is decent and the sound was good. bartenders were quick and, let me see if i remember.... i got, a couple of tequila shots (don julio) and a boddingtons for 24 bucks. not bad. of course i got a couple more tequila shots. good times.
by Sheldon Suryan on Before the rateclubs party, I'd gone to Mighty a couple of times back in my clubbing days. I seem to recall that I enjoyed myself each time as there was always parking nearby, they weren't ever too jam packed, the dance floor was spacious, there were places to sit and rest your feet, and the patrons were good looking. But I wasn't sure if those were just figments of my imagination as both times I went, I was pretty wasted. But last night's festivities confirmed that Mighty is indeed a cool place. We found rock-star parking right out front, the place was packed but the cooling system was fantastic, the dance floor was indeed spacious, the music conducive to booty shaking, their 2 bars were tended by quick and efficient staff, and the patrons, well, they make a girl feel all tingly and stuff. Oh yeah, and it definitely validated that I am, in fact, a lush.
