by R H. on This is truly ONE of MY FAVORITE clubs in NYC by far along with SL but 1 Oak aka ONE OF A KIND describes me to a T lol i love this club very exclusive if you make it thru the ropes with BIG BINN AT the door than you know your somebody you can see Jay-z over there Derek Jeter over there Paris Hilton on that side by far GREAT drinks are super expensive like 18 for whatever lol but they are never watered down. I go here just about Tues Thru THursday lol suggestion if your a NOBODY in NYC you won't get into this club but hitting me up with the right QUE$tions may HELP$$$ you lol
by Jacquelynn Koscho on I'm into it! Here is the recipe for a successful spot: 1) Accessibly boozing. Mighty has not one (very long bar) but two bars! Great! 2) Arguably the most amazing sound system in all of SF, maybe even the United States or the universe. 3) Secret bathroom 4) Areas to sit because you really want to talk to dude but also your feet are REALLY killing you 5) Secret loft that's cool to explore and be like "yeah, there's an upstairs... oh, you didn't know? So, where you from? Oh, here? And you didn't know there was an upstairs? Whatever!" 6) Dancefloor, but not in the way. 7) *great* lighting 8) An outdoor area to cool off and act pretentious towards people who smoke cigarettes because, you know, you're wayyy too cool for that. So anyway, Mighty has all those qualities. Yes, it's very far away and definitely a destination... but if you have a great reason to go (ie rateclubs party) then who cares? It's totally worth it. Go rateclubs party squad! Hooooray!
