by anita l. on This place is probably the nicest karaoke spot ive ever been to in the US. The rooms are modern and super clean. Every room has a different theme and the songs are up to date which I LOVE.
by Gene Galdo on If you want to be smack dab in the middle of Hollywood, this place is for you. Rooms are nice enough and they've clearly updated the look in the last few years. Still, the bathroom, for example, looks very old. The Kiehls products kind of make up for it. The air conditioning in the room is comically loud. Stay here for the location. Oh, and the awesome pool area.
by Armando Novitsky on First of all if I could place NEGATIVE STARS on the rating I would...THIS PLACE IS STRAIGHT GARBAGE! I wanna inform you all that I never do this sorta thing, in fact I created a profile for the SHEER PURPOSE of saving u all some time and some money and letting you know what a fuckin DUMP this over hyped poor excuse of a club really is... So we were second in line & the douche bag, unshaven, middle-aged, cheesy bouncers still make us wait for like 15 mins just so a small line can form outside in hopes of generating some kind of inclination to others that this is a worthy club (this is all in the RAIN mind you). We finally get in and pay $20 a pop entry, $20 for parking & $20 a pop for drinks. So we're thinking wow for these sorta prices all the hype MUST be true....WRONG!!!! We start checking the place and noticed the following: 1) Drinks are WAY to expensive 2) The DJs SUCK for some reason they would only play music from ONLY 2000-2003 & their mixing was horrible they would bump their own table and songs would skip...WOOOOW....real professional....and when they actually played a DECENT song they only play 20 secs of it and lead into some corny ass music or they would yell on the mic 3) Coat check (which we needed) was $4....which is fine, had there been someone to ACTUALLY TAKE UR COAT... 4) The bathrooms.....a complete MESS no doors on the stalls no paper towels no soap & the sinks I kid u not reminded me of a tijuana dive bar bathroom 5) LAX is also extremely GHETTO, on their website they advertise club is quote "industrial"...translation = broken down bathrooms, broken glass on the floor, paint chipping off walls, dated deocr, & an extremely SMALL dance floor 6) The atmospehere seemed more of like h school all ages club...club is advertised as the social ground of LA's elites...riiiight Now its not that Im not used to dives like this actually I have more fun at dives, the fact of the matter is this place is deceitful and makes u think this is a superb club for all socialites and they damn sure charge u for it. Bottom line is this is false advertising save ur money and hit one of the lounges or bars cause LAX is wack!
