by Iluminada Kegg on I have been meaning to write this review for a month now. I held my wedding at Terra Nov 09 and couldn't have been more pleased with the entire event. The entire event was absolutely perfect. Dusty and Amy managed to keep track of all of the details leading up to the event and during so I literally just went along with the ride. It seemed like during the event I had my own personal server, every time I turned around she would appear to refresh my drink, bring me some water, absolutely anything. They really listened to make sure the event felt like us. Whimsical, modern and super fun. It went from a swanky art gallery opening, to a super sweet ceremony, a hip cocktail hour, a nice dinner and finally a packed dance club all in one space. The different changes in lighting really made each part of our wedding feel very different. We went with mostly Terra recommendations for our other vendors and working with those guys was a snap. Not to mention amazing. Best food and cake ever and a huge shout out to our DJ - Ruben. Separate reviews coming, no worries. Anyway, I can't thank the team at Terra enough for our wonderful wedding. Everyone who attended had a terrific time and it went down in the history books as the best wedding ever.
by Ceeh R. on If you go to NYC and haven't been to 1Oak yet, what the hell are you waiting for????? That's like going to NYC without checking out the Statue of Liberty! This place has great drinks and great music. :) Favorite nights are weeknights!
by Tabetha Karsnak on 1984 can be a lot of fun. It does get crowded and very hot, so don't wear a sweater. I have gone there with a group of friends and danced away. But do watch out for the lurkers. They try to slip in between you and your friends. Just dance with your elbows. Elbows! That will keep them away.
