by Oliver Belfield on Well, they try here, but this place is schizophrenic. Its not sure if it is a crazy club or a nice brunch place. It tries hard to be both, but its hard to take a giant club and convert it into a bunch place. Although the view is nice, the ambiance is pretty bad. We went there and it was freezing cold. For some reason they left the outside door open? The dining area was a little dirty, just because it doubles as a dance area (you can see the intellabeams above you). Now, its not all bad. Like I said, they really do try. The service is good and prompt, the drinks are strong, and the food is quite good. Because of the mediocre ambiance, you can usually beat the Brunch Crowd and get seated and eating and drinking quickly, even with a very large group. I wish they could just section off one part of the place just for Brunch, and make it nicer, and keep the rest of the building for the club scene.
by Truong N. on Was there last night for their usual wednesday night lounge, the music and atmosphere was fantastic. lotta beautiful people, who CAN dance and have a good time. The drink I got, however, wasnt that great. Will definitely come back again though, the DJ alone is a killer.
by Keenan Korab on It always seems accidental that we end up at 111 Minna. Playing the accidental tourists, we wind up party crashing. But as those miscalculating party crashers we always meet the most captivating of people, eat some of the most impressive appetizers, see some really profound and stimulating artwork, and make our way on to create the most riveting of evenings. 111 Minna is a handsome space, with appealing lighting, decor and ambiance. Perfect for an after-work drink, the casual now and again party crash, or even a private affair.
