Best fish tacos I've ever had!. I went to Nick's for my birthday this year with a huge group of people. Nick's doesn't take reservations but luckily we were able to nab some booths next to each other. I love how Nick's is festive, affordable, fun and the food really is fantastic. Next time I'm in SF I'm definitely going to hit up Nick's.

Going to Mighty is not just about going out, it's a destination event. The funny part was all the rateclubsers in the know showed up at the same time and filled the abandoned potrero streets with their cars. Reminded me of that scene in Swingers where all the guys leave one party and head to the next one alone in their cars in case they hook up. Nice job Mighty, Goat Hill and rateclubs for filling my stomach with pizza and mmm meatballs and marinara sauce and swan's neck based rateclubs punch or lemon drops, and for making my ears ring for hours after I left, getting to old for clubs I guess. The bartenders were especially sweet and wanted to make sure you were happy, so I didn't always have to have a drink ala plastic cup, which by the way is a lot more maneuverable than a martini glass when trying to negotiate the rateclubser crowds. BTW watch out for the step of death.
