by Kät A. on RAD ATMOSPHERE Everything is the Mexican themed "Day of the Dead", very dark and LOTS to look at. Not a good selection of beer to be honest, but that's only because I don't prefer Mexican beer. BUT there is hope - there is a full bar, and they make an excellent margarita. Hence the name, there are plenty of varieties to choose from. Good music too, none of that obnoxious "oompa oompa oompa, bum bum bum bum oompa..." cool Bossanova jams and latin jazz. Even latin rock & roll. Food is absolutely delicious. The bean dip especially. Vegetarian options. A little pricey, I plan on going back as soon as I get A. my boyfriend to take me out, B. a raise or C. some sort of bonus or lottery... (I'm making it sound REALLY expensive - my bad. I'm just so used to being strapped for cash lately! Don't mind me) Definitely a rad place to go with a group or party
by Richard T. on I saw Imogen Heap here earlier this year... Anyone else like Imogen? She's off the chain.. I like the intimacy of small venues, so this this place is perfect for seeing shows. Pretty central location for SF too so it's really convenient in that sense.
