by Alisha R. on We went on a Thursday evening around 6pm. No wait on getting a table... Our waiter was friendly. Our order was taken and within 5min our food was on the table. I ordered their crispy tacos with beef. They were stuffed *full* of beef leaving almost no room for the toppings that accompanied the meal for 3 tacos, they definitely should have included more shredded cheese and tomatoes... It started to get busier when it was time to leave because we had to wait 25 min. for our check. I really liked the bean dip.... I thought the food was good.
by Patrina Tylwalk on I visited Touch Club for large parties and events, and I had fun while I was here. Touch has a very large event space (12,000 ft). On the first floor, there is a separate, but relatively small bar area which gets crowded quite easily. The bar counter lights up with neon purple highlights when you touch it. (Hence "Touch"). Leading inwards into the venue is a large main space, which also has a stage, so it's good for performances, shows, and other functional purposes. On the second floor, there is another bar and has a balcony-like set up with comfortable couches and small tables for guests to lounge about and act as spectators of the show going on downstairs. The third floor is more or less like the second floor but without the bar. There are all sorts of dark nooks and crannies to get intimate, so Touch has not left out the important details. Drinks at Touch are not cheap, and the bartender nastily told me to order minimum two drinks on my credit card. I was rather uncomfortable about that since I saw a slew of 15 other people giving her their credit cards - she didn't come across as someone who'd remember which card belong to whom. The bartender did not service me well as she did for the men around me, so naturally, I didn't tip her as well as they did. Later, I saw on my bill that they added two extra bucks later, which I wasn't too happy about. It wasn't about the two extra dollars but more about the principle involved here. Touch is functional but not necessarily beautiful. I would not come back here unless there was a large party and I'd come armed with some cash.
by Lia Detzler on This is for tasting menu. I would recommend you to try tasting menu ($49) instead of ordering 2 dishes from the menu. It comes with 10 small dishes and it is PLENTY of food for even 2 people IF you are not a big eater. It's a good way to try all different food at spice market and enjoy dinner time. Service is a bit slow but it's busy place. The fried rice with toasted garlic covered fried egg was interesting. The chest-nut taste-milk dessert (fruit and jello strips inside) was good.
