by Kaleena S. on Sweet little date spot if the right performer(s) are slotted. Make a reservation if you want to eat dinner. Food and drinks are solid. Service is kind of absent after the place gets crowded. You have great seats if you make a reservation...that's the only way I'll go because the place gets packed. Their is a food minimum per person if you reserve a table. Plenty of bars to check out in the surrounding area as well if you get bored.
by Scott Moland on OH HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN! And I'm totally talking about myself. Mighty is the first Club I've gone to since moving to San Francisco in November. Back in the day, clubs used to be my scene; I'd be getting down on the dance floor, drinking a jack and coke, and talking to the ladies. But last night I just felt out of place. Don't get me wrong, it's not your fault but I think I just had a different impression of how everything was going to go down. Mighty, don't get mad at me. Like I said, It wasn't your fault, you did everything right. I was quickly ushered inside without having to wait in a line. The nice coat girl took my goods and placed them safely in a cubby, and I believe I had a drink within 2 minutes of going up to the bar. Mighty, you treated me well, except for when I would forget that you had that evil step there to test if people had drank too much. See I wasn't drinking so whenever I forgot about the step and the ground was 6 inches further down or higher than my foot expected, I would smoothly just pull out the pimp walk. You know that walk, it's like one leg is longer than the other. I guess the reason I just couldn't get into it is because of the music. I'm sorry Mighty, that's it. I figured it out. I just don't like house music. It gives me a headache. And with me not drinking last night, I couldn't counter my dislike for house with copious amounts of alcohol. But in hindsight, that's a good thing. I would have ended up on my face after forgetting about that half step you got. Mighty, I'll see ya around. Maybe on one of those nights when you're playing different music and I feel like getting jiggy.
