This place has the most amazing tableside guacamole. The atmosphere is romantic and fun. Always a great decision to go to while in Midtown Manhattan.

Funny name for a restaurant, even if it is across the street from a cemetary. A large cemetary I might add. After reading the menu on the Net, I thought I would like to try their surf and turf. My trusty GPS got me and my friend here in record time, though it told us that we had reached our destination in front of Thin Lizzy's. A bit confused at first we drove a bit further and found it. (Just a tip for those looking for it on your GPS) It was a Friday night and the place was packed. I had no idea that it was restaurant/sports bar. I would have chosen something else as I am not a sports bar type of girl. Perhaps I should have read the reviews more closely. We were seated right away though, so one star for that. I ordered the surf and turf and the filet mignon was prepared just like I like it. The asparagus was delicious. The shrimp wasn't that great. The corn salad, well let's just say I can live another 40 years and never have to have corn salad again. It wasn't bad, but nothing I'd drive for. In fact, though my experience here was not bad at all, I would not make a special trip just to eat in front of a cemetary. But if you like sports bars, I would reccomend this spot to you. The service was great, the crowd was lively and the price was about how much we spend each week at dinner. Nothing like walking out of a restaurant and having to face a cemetary as a reminder that if you keep eating filet mignon you're going to be a permanent resident faster than you imagined.

I've been going to the Cinch for years to play pool and Jim, Eddie, Michael, and Eric ( bartenders ) are the best! Soon you know the names of all the regulars and you meet quite a variety of patrons. Great place to hang out.
