I've been here several times and threw a birthday party here a year ago. Everyone had a blast. Several different rooms/areas on the main level. Spacious rooftop area with dance floor AND hot tub up top. Good music, good drinks. Always a good time.

I *LOVE* this place. I love this place so much I strive to BE this place when I grow up. That doesn't make sense? How much FREAKING FUN I have here, at this small, kinda divey, slightly run down bar each time doesn't either, so what now! You know what else doesn't make much sense? The mix of the crowd in here! -- the full spectrum from the Central square usuals, the sketchballs, the slightly geeky ones from down the street, the standard rateclubs yuppies (oh hush, you love it) -- and just how much fun everyone has together with the totally non-pretentious, non-douchey dancing that goes down here. And what perhaps makes the least sense, is 80's night here on Fridays, when the AWESOME DJ spins the 10 80's songs you actually know against top 40 hits. SERIOUSLY. Can you beat 80's + Top 40 to dance to?!?! I will be that girl getting kicked off the speakers because, no, you're still not allowed to dance on them, so see you there. I'll get you into some trouble too.

If you're from Atlanta, you had to be at least somewhat proud of Richard Blais's work on Top Chef, so when I heard about this place, I was pretty excited.  I really wanted this to rank high on my eating list.  3, that isn't bad, but there are some things that definitely need work. Location: Could have been a it better, particularly with the traffic, but I didn't mind.  Although the parking lot is a bit small for its crowd, it wasn't too hard finding a space. The line:  It really didn't take too long being seated despite the crowd of people waiting.  I think we beat the real crowd, though since there were people spilling out into the parking lot by the time we left.  What really bothers me about their set up is that the line waiting is positioned right over one row of the tables.  People are literally hanging over the shoulder's of those eating closest to the door.  It is a not-well thought out thing they have going there.  They need to either make that wall higher or do some rearranging. Service: Up and down.  Some of the staff were really friendly and nice.  Our server wasn't too bad initially, but it was all down-hill from that point on.  Our server said something that offended the table next to ours and spent the rest of the time trying to kiss-ass to them and neglected the rest of the tables.  When one of our orders came out wrong, the server glanced at it with some confusion, seemed to gestured acknowledgment that it was wrong and walked away not saying anything.  We thought that that the server was going back there to correct the mistake.  We really didn't see that server again until our bill came. She never said a word to us about the mistake. By that point it was useless to mention it. If only she had just mentioned the mistake and apologized, it would have made all the the difference. Menu: The drinks looked enticing.  For an extra couple of dollars, you can get it with liquid nitrogen so that it comes out smoking for a minute.  Pretty gimmicky if you ask me.  The food menu was not particularly so, although some of the sides did sound interesting.  Burgers: they come out a bit more rare than many places.  a Medium comes out more medium-rare and so on and so forth. The buns are nicely toasted etc. The fries were good and so was the mayonnaise that  accompanies it.  I am not a fan of mayonnaise AT ALL, but I LOVED the smokiness of their recipe. The shakes were good, but really nothing to write home about. All in all, the place is worth a visit if you're in the mood to try something new. Just keep in mind that the sides, shakes, and drinks are better than the burgers.  Also be prepared to be sitting within hands reach of the table next to you and the people waiting in line. Oh, and if you're planning on hitting this burger joint, make sure you check out their schedule.  Like many restaurants in that area, they aren't open on Sundays.
