by Katie K. on I've come here a few times with people from work, but most recently I was here on a date, meaning I didn't come for the food. :) And first, let's get over the fact that LOL! This place is across the street from an actual graveyard. Joke is over now. There's only one thing I ever eat here - its the combo tacos. And I always get one shrimp, one calamari, and one scallop. It's to die for! Tons of seafood goodness, all wrapped up in a yummy yummy tortilla. They also will give you these weird potato chip fry thingies with everything, but I would definitely look to substitute something else - not a fan of fried chips. This place actually would do well to shorten their menu - it's kind of too enormous. The rooftop seating is fun and pleasant - you're seated on these high tables on high chairs, so you can have a semi decent look at the surrounding area. The restaurant is fairly large, but it doesn't feel like it. Decent beer selection, and fairly good service. Clean bathrooms (a must!), and better, plenty of parking in the back. I could definitely see myself coming here again just because the parking is convenient (yeah ok, call me a lazy ass who hates looking for parking!)
by Alejandrina Grossley on Yes, Katey and Sean, happy hour is great here. To start with, they have happy hour seven days/week. Having a late breakfast and early happy hour is one of the most luxurious ways to spend a weekend, if you ask me. There's tons of seating, their drinks are good, and the appetizers aren't bad for being free. Just know when to say when--I basically substituted my dinner with their greasy-but-good freebies and left feeling like I'd had my quota of grease for a week.
