The funny thing is that I always forget about this place when my friends and I try to think of a place to go dancing to! HOW?! I guess it's just off my radar since it's out of the way. I've been there and heard hip hop (top 40s), old hip hop, Brazillian/jungle beats (not sure how to describe it) and I and everyone else in my group has always had a blast! I love the layout as well. One huge room with bars on either end and even some seating (other than table service that is). I will definitely be back!
by Troy Longworth on Headed to celebrate a friend's Birthday at Roe, I was excited to see how this space measured up to other lounges in the city. We were greeted with a line outside, but got into the lounge in about 5 minutes. Typical ID, stamp, entrance situation. The lounge is spacious and has two levels. There is one bar on the second level where the main dance floor is located. The dance floor gets crowded, but is fun. They often book very good DJs so check out their schedule/special events. The bottle service area is elevated and has plenty of room for large groups. The drinks were fairly weak and the exit situation is absurd. You cannot exit through the way you came in, you must cross the entire dance floor and slip out the back.
by Kaci Patrich on Great looking venue and the inside is decorated nicely. The dance floor is small though. My one gripe is the power tripping @$$hole Asian promoter guy at the door. Dude was tripping! We were on the guest list and a friend aka bday boy bought bottle service. They were temporarily shut down because the fire marshals came so people were waiting outside for a while longer than usual. We were in front and were about to get our tickets that would waive our entrance fee. But we got to the front and still didn't have our tickets. We were 13 girls and 3 guys. This one particular guy kept yelling at us to "PAY THE ENTRANCE FEE OR GTFO OUT N GET YOUR TICKET!" WTF??!!! You don't yell to people who are going into your club @$$HOLE! We were willing to pay and didn't have a problem with paying coz they were all in a rush to get people in since the fire marshals held them up for a while. But he did NOT have to yell in our faces like a crazy mad man. Talk about small pen15 complex. Totally rude and uncalled for. Not coming back here ever. Dude ruined it for me and my friends.
