by Breanna Vitatoe on The Bubble Lounge is an ideal bar to hold a happy hour mixer. The setting inside this place is very comfortable. It has a relatively large bar, plenty of tables as well as a cozy red velvet sofas area, brick walls, and dimly lit lights. Aside from the wine and champagne list, this bar also offers awesome special happy hour drinks! To accompany the drinks, the group ordered some scrumptious appetizers and fresh strawberries with chocolate fondue. The Bubble Lounge is truly a great bar to spend a few hours intermingling and socializing with other people!
by Claude Starks on you know, this place really isn't as bad as people say. yes, we had to wait in line for 20 minutes to get in and yes they lied about open bar from 10-11, but the venue is actually pretty nice inside. one way of telling how ghetto a club is by the types of cups they use (ie. blvd - lounge downtown that uses tiny, plastic cups). but at touch, they used quality, sturdy plexiglass type cups, which by the way is worth the $13 you spend per drink because the cups were huge. the only bad thing i would have to say about this place are the people. the crowd was pretty lame and pretty ugly. i went here with my boyfriend and a bunch of friends so i had fun, but if you're looking for a place with beautiful people, this isn't the place to go.
by Leslie Ann R. on I went there last Saturday night. Just to be up front, I LOVED the way the old Bruno's looked. I was excited to know that it was open again. Walking in, the first thing I noticed was the removal of the gorgeous booths. Then I looked down at the ugly carpet. The side bar, where the live shows were, fared much better. Great lighting, good music and not too crowded. The worst aspect of the new design are the ugly tacky murals in the main bar and in the small bar area (where the aquarium was). I had no issues with service. Drinks were good, a bit on the high side, but that's to be expected. On a whole, it's not ugly; if it were any other bar, I would have liked most of the decor. But the murals and tacky carpet really detract from feel of the bar. And I really, really miss the booths.
