by Boyd Dux on 5 stars for food taste 4 starts for service 4 stars for deco and atmosphere 2 stars for price/quantity.. the burgers are tiny and pretty damn expensive. If you are willing to spend $10-15 on a burger, not including the fries, then you should absolutely come here. The burgers are small but taste amazing. They have about 6-8 beef burger choices and about 6-8 'other' burger choices (lamb, chicken, veggie, etc). They focus on being trendy and innovative.... they serve the cheese as a foam :) I really like the gyro burger and thought that the fries were OK (nothing amazing). Next time I come here I definitely want to try their N2 milkshakes.. they have a krispy kreme one that I have heard is incredibly indulgent. Also, they have vodka battered onion rings. Need I say more? The atmosphere is very trendy and the restaurant is very modern looking, creating a feel for a lounge instead of a regular restaurant. Its a tad upscale though, so next time I think i'll leave my converse at home. :)
by Benjamin Hipsher on I've never been to Vessel, but my credit card has. And apparently, she had a good time. Almost $200 of a good time. She went last week. I wasn't there to witness it, and she hasn't made it home yet, so I am not sure how the night progressed. But I have some ideas... First off, she has been couped up in my wallet for a long time. And has been a very good girl thus far. But apparently this good girl got a little naughty. Knowing Visa, she likely wore something a bit revealing. Maybe showed some numbers. A little signature. Just to peek someone's interest. She doesn't wear perfume, so she likely was sporting a slightly plasticky scent. I am not sure if she made it to the Vessel alone, or if she went with someone she had just met. I am thinking the latter. What I do know is that she apparently had to pay for her own drinks all night. Poor girl. It's probably because she's so thin. When she turns sideways, you can hardly see her. Apparently the men were looking for a few more curves. Sadly, she's flat. All in all, I would guess she either had a great time and treated others to drinks, or she got really really wasted and washed her sorrows away. Either way, I had to cancel her before she went drunk shopping. I won't reward her bad behavior! If you know of her most recent whereabouts, let me know. She's blue and silver, about 3" x 2" and has my name plastered on her. She's got a lot of explaining to do!
by Jennifer P. on Blaaah. Visiting from NYC and was told to have brunch here. Never again. Place was mostly empty and we got seated at the most crap-tastic table in the place. 5 minutes later a couple got seated at the table right next to us. WHY if it's EMPTY? Was obnoxious to hear their chit-chat. Waitress was NOT attentive and I hope she liked her (non) tip.. ;-) Food was just ok. Nothing special. YAWN.
