by Elfreda Corr on Seriously! These guys can make a sammy faster than you can say "#9 Italian Night Club with spicy peppers!" Here's the weird part, they have great sandwhiches too. The bread is baked fresh every day and it tastes much better than any flavor the guys at Subway can bake. There's a cool and laid back vibe here too that makes it a great lunch spot. Keep this place in your lunch arsenal, especially if you're in a hurry! Don't let yo' belly go hungry, these guys can get some good food in there quick.
by Lois Albini on My boyfriend surprised me with a surprise birthday party at Circolo and when we walked outside, a limo was waiting for all of us to go to Harlot. Very cool. Man, he so got laid that night. Anyways... We had a table and bottle service! We had a great time and the DJ WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! I just loved the music and we danced the night away. I'm only giving it 4 stars because they let too many people in and it was too packed. Also, two stalls for the bathroom was not a good situation. When I started to feel sick from that Kobe beef burger at Circolo, I ran to the bathroom and politely asked the two bouncers back there if there was another restroom because the line was 30 girls deep. They said, "NOPE!". I very nicely said I was going to be sick and they directly me to the alley and told me to get outside. How classy. When I asked if they would let me back in, they said yes but proceeded to leave their post and left me outside in the cold. Bastards. Overall, I had a good time. Was upscale (minus the alley part) and I def recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out. I do recommend getting a table if you have a large group...it gets too busy to enjoy more then one friend while hanging out here. Oh, and they had very cool go-go dancers!
by Lauren C. on When you want a martini but don't want to be in a snooty place with snooty people, go to Martuni's. It's the most fun/funky martini bar I've ever been to - people are friendly and the drinks are stiff and you just never know when someone might burst into song. We wandered into this place on our walk home from work one day - happy hour was happenin. They have out some free snacks, and after 2 chocolate martini's I was ready to stumble home happy and intoxicated. Seriously - chocolate martini - best drink ever. I definitely recommend this place and have been trying to convince people to go back there ever since. WARNING: While this place is seriously fantastic, it's rare that after drinking here, I don't end up having a drunken sleep-walking episode in which I knock on my roommates' doors confusing it for the bathroom. Beware too many martinis!
