by Lowie T. on this place was fun! and hidden away which made it kind of cool in a sense that only those in-the-know, know how to get there (which i assume are most people actually haha). only came for drinks and the soju was decent from what i remember. the scene was trendy casual...and when u sit near the window u have a great view of 5th ave which is nice for people watching. AND mono+mono is right across the street...what more can u ask for? =)

Ok for people that have never gone clubbing before, don't go to Tiger Heat for your first time, because after your first clubbing experience there no other club can compare!! Cover: $10 cash. If you use a credit card I think its like $13? Music: They have themed nights every Thursday for CD releases, new music videos, etc. Their themed music night feature artists like Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Adam Lambert, Madonna, etc.. So fun! What other club plays music like that? The club plays the most popular songs by the artist of the night and other popular songs you hear on the radio, mostly upbeat music pop music. Crowd: Since it is a gay club on thursday nights, there are mostly gay male couples, straight girls and their boyfriends, straight girls and their girlfriends, not the many lesbians or anything that I can see (I have terrible gaydar when it comes to females), and you're regular creepers (who are straight??). GIRLS BEWARE OF THESE GUYS! They are middle eastern straight guys around 21-30. There are there every time I'm there and when my friends go. Wtf, who picks up straight girls at a straight club?? But they're easily swotted away ;) Straight girls usually don't get hit on because we off a straight vibe or something but straight guys watch out! The boys at tiger heat heat are not embarrassed to show their appreciation hahah. Scenery: 1 giant dance floor, 2 bars, vip lounge, and a bleacher balcony @ the top to chill to watch featured artist performances, and male go-go dancers ;) I love this club but I'm going to have to dock it one star because its gets too crowded in there sometimes that its almost claustrophobic and the fact that they charge for water, but other than that its a great club!
by Augustus Birge on So, I guess I was holding this bar in high esteem before I ever crossed the threshold. I hear these great stories of 70 yr old exhibitionists, toothless wonders having bar brawls, tomfoolery of all sorts in the bathrooms and promises of hot dogs in a crock pot. What I got was a pretty divey neighborhood bar with a handful of regulars and little to no drama. The closest thing to crazy I encountered was a man so drunk that when I tried to strike up a conversation he gave me a hand wave and series of grunts ala Henry from Barfly. Come to think of it he had that same greasy matted hair, dirty t-shirt and unkempt look about him. If I visit here again and there is a brawl I will up the rating a star, and if the guy I talked to, we'll call him Henry since I coudn't get a name out of him, is involved in this bar brawl it will go to 4 stars. If he is fighting a machismo ass with a moustache named Eddie it will coast up to a 5 in a hurry. For now, in my humble opinion, this bar is far too tame to climb that high in the ranks.
