by Melita Berkich on Speaking as a Red River girl, I really thought I would have never been caught dead at Pure. I only found myself there tonight because my friend who was with me suggested it. I actually found this place to be very aesthetically pleasing. The soft glow of white and blue lights, and lots of private nooks to hide in. The music was totally dance-worthy and I especially appreciated the row of private restrooms. It's almost the kind of night club I'd design if I were in the night-club-designing business. So why does every chic place have to be ruined by the clientele? Which of course were your typical 6th St college greeks, sleazeballs, and date rapists. Also, I didn't pay for any of my drinks but I presume they're on the pricier side. But all in all the atmosphere (and my company) made up for my distaste of the patrons. I recommend checking this bar out on a Sunday night when it's not too crowded.
by Erika G. on the first time i ever came here i was 18, [hmm, i know ;] which was yearrrrsss ago.... it was great, it was an ozomatli show, walked in and chilled out, got profusely sweaty as i danced to music that touches my soul from ozomatli; without a doubt. I had the best time ever, one long bar, one small corner bar. the crowd was raving we had a ball and i've been back to the dragonfly ever since. Although i haven't been back to the dragonfly for about a year at the very least... the last time i was there, there was a different theme, same great vibe and definitely marking my calendar to go back. Chill zone, fun fun galore! holla! ;)
