by Mary-Anne C. on Are you serious? Idk...maybe i really just have had better because I couldn't figure out what all the rave was about. I ordered a fish taco and eh it was okay. I mean for 5.95 I thought I would get a good one but it was just okay! I got a chicken taco Nick's way and it just didn't have enough crunch to it. I also shared a basket of chips with salsa and guac and mmm those were yummy but thats what I enjoyed the most! Service was awesome as the food came out really fast. The decor is really cute but after all, it is club Rouge at night time. But hmmm I must've missed something because I think my favorite taqueria actually delivered a tastier taco.
by Dan T. on I usually don't visit a place once and write a review..but folks I was here for for nearly 6 hours last night for DYL/Rocket Dog Rescue fund raiser. Yes, 6 freaking hours! Usually if I'm at bar that long I'd need to bring a diaper ala my favorite astronaut http://upload.wikimedi... because I'd be so bored I'd piss myself. But guess what.. this freaking place is dog friendly! Yes it's true! I was sitting at the bar with my dog http://static.px.Rateclub....before any Rateclubers were there chatting it up with some freaking cool regulars. I did have to leave for a moment to get some grub because they don't usually serve food here (though they do serve some bbq and oysters on some days) but they make up for it by letting you bring in food and drinks from nearby restaurants. Maybe this is a mistake because one drunken fool (me) decided to freaking drop all his food in the middle of the bar. I immediately grabbed some paper towels to pick up the friggen pile of nasty burritos, beans and chips on the ground. As I'm on my hands and knees an employee comes up and thanks me for picking up the mess. I try to explain that I'm the idiot who dropped it and how bad I felt and he tells me it's not a problem at all. Holy crap.. I was expecting him to call over the bouncer and get "medieval" on my ass. Damn these people are cool. They also have a patio that is awesome. I got to see all the other dogs walking out there and LG loved it. There's something about being outside at a bar that makes it 100 times better than if you're stuck inside your typical hot/suffocating bar/club. I'm not going to lie either.. if someone built an outdoor strip club I would so be there..well at least I'd be hiding in the corner of the building next door with a pair of binoculars because I'm way to cheap to actually go to one. The got one long ass happy hour. Freaking drinks are $2.50. Now I'm a LA guy where getting 4 drinks can run about $30. I walk in here and grab 4 drinks (including bottles) and it's $12! WTF! Had I known that I would had made it 8 drinks If I got the happy hour specials it would have been even less. Happy hours run from 4-9pm. I nearly shitted myself when I found that out. Thus more reason for me to get those astronaunt diapers. http://www.wftv.com/20... The only thing that bummed me out was that the place was full (probably because of the events) and there wasn't enough seating. The patio can get a lot of smoke because of the BBQ but overall LG and I loved this place. I'm not sure if it was because I got to hang out with some freaking cool Rateclubers, kick back a few with my mutt or if the place was just fabulous..but overall I had a freaking awesome time.
