ok, listen up sullivan room patrons....more dancing, less parking on the dancefloor. when you are paying $30 to see mark farina or miguel migs, get the most of it and dance your ass off! otherwise, you are fucking up my rhythm and i don't appreciate it. this place is good when the djs are good. they get some big names here and the sound system is...ok. it gets hot, you will sweat. drinks are reasonably priced. no dress code. people are fairly chill. overall a great place to put that 9 to 5 up on a shelf and just enjoy yourself.

I have never had a bad experience here. The food is good, the drinks are good, the service is good. (I prefer the one in Los Angeles, but that is an entirely different post, based largely on the fact that I firmly believe east coast food is not as good as west coast food, but alas i digress...WESSSST SIEEEEDE!! ) Anyway- the kobe beef sliders alone make this place worth the visit. There are three on a plate and if you aren't a big eater they could easily constitute a good dinner. The wine list is interesting. There are a lot of bottles I really love but have not seen in restaurants before. Mainly from CA but a good Spanish Rioja is also on offer. The only reason I am giving it 4 and not 5 stars is because I really HATE the plaster tentacles that come out of the wall over the bar. I want to take a bat to them. I really do. In fact, If I could take a bat to those hideous excuses for decor I might just sit at that bar more. Lucky for me, there is a closed off private second bar, just across the way... unlucky for me I still have to face those f-ing tentacles as I exit. still... this place isn't bad for the trendy nightmare that is the meatpacking district.
