by Ryan Morga on Went here a while ago. Got a bottle with one friend. Price was normal just as any other SBE clubs. The only issue I had is that we were standing up. Did not like that and was not informed about that. If I go back I will request to be seated. I'm not gonna pay $600 to stand up lol. I felt like an idiot. BUT oh well. The music was ok. I guess there was a BDay party so everyone knew each other. I was expecting a little better music since XIV is there club also. I am going to give it one more try.
by Sarah G. on "Hello ladies, our bar is sponsored tonight by tequila herradura." "Oh great so drinks with tequila are free?" "Um no." "You said the bar is sponsored, right?" "Yes, it is sponsored" "Sooooo....are there drink specials at all then? what is sponsored?" "It is sponsored by Tequila Herradura. But there are no drink specials" "So nothing is sponsored then." "See that ice sculpture of their logo?" Now, tell me if that makes ANY sense to you. Don't tell me that a bar is sponsored when NOTHING is free or on drink special. That is not being sponsored. Basically they decorated the bar, so maybe we should all hire Tequila Herradura to decorate our bars too, since Mood couldn't get them to provide drink specials! And I was even here at an after party event, and there still were no drink specials!! I just don't get it. At all. Shortly after a few drinks we paid full price for, which by the way were packed with alcohol ha ha, I knew why they made them so strong. CLOWN-LIKE PEOPLE ON STILTS. I am serious, a girl with her face painted all white and red on HUGE stilts and a guy to match! They hobbled and danced around and just looked kinda freaky, but everyone here loved them. They were probably the most popular people of the night ha ha The decor is nice, and the owner I think Jin who I met on the way in was very approachable and definitely went around making sure everyone was happy. They even brought in a live trumpet player and drummer which played side-by-side with their go go dancers, which made my friend Terra envious of their butts ha ha. Oh ya and the back half of the club/bar is technically a covered patio where all the smokers go, so you still feel inside, but you aren't. Kinda cool for smokers, too bad I am not one! But a nice spot on Hollywood Blvd, but they need to learn what "sponsored" means and that clowns are scary....and extra scary on stilts!
