The tasting menu was outstanding and the wine pairings were exceptional. After having dined at Michael Mina's in San Francisco, I had much higher expectations for the service. First, this is definitely not a restaurant you want to go to as a couple. It felt as though we were shuffled to a tiny table on the side and priority was given to larger groups. This was very disappointing given that it was my husband's birthday and I spent almost $400. The sommelier was either not working or did not visit the table so the captain and our waiter impatiently delivered the wine pairings without explanation, only the name of the wine and it's region. The pairings were delivered sometimes before the course and other times after it was served.

This place is the worst of the worst. It is the TYPICAL Ken and Barbie crowd, and sadly, the owner intends to keep it that way. If you actually have a little meat on your bones or a BRAIN or an original sense of style--you will be turned AWAY AT THE DOOR. You may even be on a GUEST LIST, but they will still not let you in, unless you have large, fake breasts, an orange tan and blonde hair. A brainless neanderthal scopes out anything with a vagina under 110 pounds, and lets them in. All others, who he is not interested in sexually, will be standing outside all night, regardless of money, guest list or gender. Dita Von Teese performed here recently and should be ashamed.

A nice intimate concert venue. Saw a couple of folk shows here and the sound engineer did an amazing job capturing just the right sound for the show. Being such an intimate venue has its take backs though. There isn't much room for you to stand and sharing body heat after a while does get you a lil' warm and sweaty. The staff was courteous and helpful as we were looking for the will call booth (there isn't one btw) and waiting in line. Parking is a lil' tough but be patient, we were able to find some street parking after about 10 mins of circling around.
