Our clients can enjoy a beautiful view of Chesapeake Bay or the Susquehanna River while enjoying a delicious meal in a relaxing atmosphere. There are so many different aspects to Silk City that it's hard to not find something to please there. Good affordable beer selection, solid comfort food, good music, dancing, and the beer garden. I went there for dinner this Sunday and was pleased again. I got the lamb chops and sausage with spaghetti squash that were on the specials list. Awesome! Rich and hardey with some added fried goodness and cremey cheese on the plate were just what I needed after the New Years liquid feast that was still swishing thru my stomach. Washed it down with a Bell's Expedition Stout. I heart Michigan beers! Thanks for helping us represent! Love the beer garden. Wish it was warmer so I could go relax outside there. Danced to QuestLove spinning last time I was there. On a Sunday! Lots of good time. I recommend.

What Tenjune needs, 1. Lightings. So dark and once in my life, I wanted a discoball so bad. 2. Reduced ATM fee.  We really needed some cash for coat check. $5.99 ATM fee? It is like over tipping the ATM machine. 3. Increased Door Screen test. We had the contact but, for 70% crowds we wondered how they got in. I am not being shallow but, I still need some explanation from the Tenjune manager for all the better crowds who were turned away who actually deserved to get in. 4. Licensed(?) DJ. Music in this place was horrible and very out dated and undanceable. 5. Lighting, lighting and lighting. They need to majorly invest on lightings. spot light, flashing light, disco light or just plain lamps. I wasn't sure where I was. Tenjune or Dungeon. Only good(?) thing, the guards for the upstairs, I wouldn't really call this upstairs but steps up for private table area, are real gentlemen. Whenever I was in and out (up and down the stairs in this case), he would hold my hand to escort the lady safely. So, sums up, if you must go, bring some cash. bring some flash light in case you lose your friend in the crowd, bring someone you want to lose so that you can definitely lose them   in the dark. bring your ipod for dancing with your own music. And don't expect to see any fancy eye candies.
