by Beth K. on Don't you hate it when you're on the dance floor, having a blast, and the bar closes because it's 2am? Thank god for Voyer, where you can add a few more hours onto your dance party! The entrance is kind of in an alley, but easy to find bc of the line of people congregating outside. I took off one star because they had a $15 cover, which seemed excessive. But once inside, I had a blast. I reco skipping the downstairs dancefloor featuring techno versions of Katy Perry and Rihanna, and go to the hip hop room on the second floor. The music was great, and it was full but never over-crowded.
by nina s. on I came here for a friends bday a few months ago, and I had a great time!!! We arrived at about 1030-11pm, and had no troubles getting in. At that time, It was pretty empty, so we hung out in the enclosed patio up front for a bit.. There are a couple of tables there (for bottle service). But mostly, people are just there mingling and having smokes. The lounge itself, is just one big rectangle, with boots lined up along the walls, and a couple are stationed in the center. So, basically unless you have bottle service, you have no place to really "chill" at. You are just kind of stuck standing around. And since the place is pretty small, there's not much room even for that! I will say that their drinks are very strong. We bought long island iced teas, and boy did they pack a punch!!!! After the drinks, we were ready to let loose on the dance floor---which was perfect timing! It was about midnight and that's when the place really started to fill up. We headed over to the "dance floor"----the only place to dance is this TINY section right below the cool-looking DJ booth. The DJ was good on the night we went---he played music you can shake your bom bom, to =)!!! So we danced the night away and had a grand time... Despite the fun we had, the reason I docked 2 stars is because the layout sucks---it's designed for bottle service clientele ONLY, and because the crowd is kind of BLAH! I'd probably go to this place again if I was invited, but I wouldn't gather a group of girlfriends and randomly go... Though, I do hear that Tuesday nights there are a lot better than weekends... So maybe I'll shoot for a Tuesday ;)!
by Kathrine Ging on the layout is like a freaking maze. beware of the rickety staircase. one drunken missed step and you can have your skull cracked open.
