by Corinna Binder on Is this place becoming more and more creepy, or is it just me? The last time I went, I remember there were a lot of Mexican guys that were just wall flowers and STARED. Creeepyy.... However, I do love their red velvet seats that sometimes we manage to take over and call it "our" booth. It was a friend's birthday, so I almost felt like we had bottle service at a point. hahaha But I think my Rouge days are over. It just doesn't cut it. It's not classy, but definitely on the trashy side.
by Don M. on This is a really well known and trendy Hollywood club and like most clubs, they intentionally give the venue an exclusive feeling. Hollywood is all about attitude and who you know. Maybe you didn't know anyone promoting the club and you expected to just stroll right in? Was this the first club in Hollywood you went to? I don't expect people to kiss my ass in Hollywood- or anywhere else in LA for that matter. It kind of comes with the territory. I actually expect people to be a dick, then I'm pleasantly surprised when they're not. It's LA, you're going to get fucked one way or another (note the ambiguity- I've copy written that so don't even try). Also, exclusivity results in the attitude that if they actually let you in, that you shouldn't be a cheap ass at the bar either, and yes, the drinks are expensive. You can park across the street for $10- I have never done valet there. The best part about this club is the layout. There's a dj down stairs and a dj upstairs. Downstairs is more of a lounge, upstairs is more of a club feel. They also have an outdoor patio on each floor. There are at least three bars. One thing I don't like about this place is that it is a little bit dark. Also it can get really really crowded. Hey, there's no cover though.... I think? I've also worn some off the wall shit to this place and they let me in- so who knows about the dress code. Maybe we can find a place in Hollywood where we can pay for people to make us feel special and wanted? I mean, I'd love to party with those people (sarcasm).
by Eveline Racilis on I have been here a couple of times; both times I believe I was a little drunk. This is a great place for a fun loving group. I will admit I was a little hesitant in wanting to come here. I am very glad that I did. And yes I have seen the infamous Nanner Pudding! Drink PBRs when you are here. Cheap cover charge. Bring cash. Bring sanitation soap. Bring your best friends who have never been.
