BEST LOUNGE IN SF. so in LOVE with this lounge, my FAVORITE=) I even celebrated my birthday here. So much fun, the music was so good was dancing all night..IDK what's not to love about this place!!! It's so pretty inside & upscale, maybe most of you didn't belong there ;)

i went on a friday night and shockingly the crowd was a nice mix.  there were some hipster kids (the cleaner hipsters thank god), euro trash, some yuppies, trendy 20 somethings and than us, two asian girls from LA :) the drinks are expensive but its the city, what do you expect?  but i was floored when i saw the 20% added gratiuity.  champagne cost about $20 after tip.  yeah, bring cash or a boy. i love the interior.  if marie antoinette hooked up with mick jagger and had to co-own a bar, it would be gold bar.  its a small space with a general sitting area with couches where everyone dances.  the DJ kept us dancing until we needed to go outside for smoking breaks.

This girl and Genki are going to get along great. I went there for lunch today with a co-worker and our sushi was spectacular. My lunch date told me the owners were re-doing Genki, so there's still a portion that's unopened, but overall the new interior looked great. Service was speedy for the fact that there was only one waitress working the entire place. We split two rolls, the spicy tuna and the Super Crunch roll. The Super Crunch was a combo of tuna and salmon with cream cheese, and then tempura battered. On top it had two spicy sauces, which were awesome. The meal started off w/ a small noodle bowl, and the two of us easily polished off the sushi. My one small, read: very small, downside is that our bill was kinda pricey. The Super Crunch roll alone was $10.25 and the spicy tuna was $7. Even though it was split, it was still a lot to spend on lunch. I would def. go back for dinner though, and the valet parking was free.
