This place has stepped up. I remember going here a few years back as an afterhours club and it was filled with a lot of tweekers just trying to come down from their high. Nowadays its actually fun and the sketchyness is not as prevelant. Its a mixed crowd of after hours clubbers straight, gay, male , female, and everyone else in between. Haha. Very positive energy here. Everyone looks like they are having a good time here with no attitude and no judgements. I have to question some of the "straight" guys who come here. My friend who has a really great body (and isn't afraid to show it off) says that he gets a lot of compliments from the straight guys (some who bring their girlfriends) about his body, to the point where it seems like they're trying to pick him up. Hmmmm..... I'm thinking maybe the girlfriends are more like "Haaaaay girlfriend" than a relationship girlfriend.

Great beer selection and great food for everyone even for vegetarian and those who are broke yes broke. Hard economics times you want a place that won't drain your wallet, this is your place. There have great happy hour specials and food specials too. Great price in Old City!!

Note this review is for their Hot Salsa Friday nights: I'd been here before but had not been upstairs which turns out to be as large a space as the main floor area but not as crowded. It was Friday night and the free salsa class was starting at 7pm and so Obed and I planted ourselves at the bar while waiting for it to end. I have to say that their bartenders are more than fair with their pouring. In fact, I drunk 4 spicy diablo margaritas (basic on the rocks margarita with hot sauce spiked into it) between 6pm and 11pm and I was still feeling it the next morning. Yes, I am weak. But I know what a tequila hangover feels like and I wasn't going to mess with that. Per many of the reviews here, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I actually had a great time. There are a couple of very good dancers and having a lot of room on the dance floor is a novelty for me. The drinks are strong. The music is good and loud. And I'll definitely be back for another Hot Salsa Friday!
