The staff was very nice when I called to make a reservation for a large group.  Despite a last minute request and a lot of changes of plans, they were really trying to accommodate our party as best as they can.  5 stars for this. We made a reservation for 8 pm and I showed up about 15 mins late.  To my surprise and a bit of disappointment, the first show (supposed to run from 7-9ish) that I wanted to see was already over.  So, we had to wait until 10 pm for the next show...which was ok.  The place got really packed after 9:30 or so, so make sure to come early or make a reservation for a guaranteed spot.  Also, this brought up another point.  I'm ok with a pretty crowded place, but having a bunch of people standing around us while we're eating was a bit awkward and uncomfortable. Food was pretty good.  Their beef burger was very tasty and juicy.  Other dishes like fried potatoes, calamari, martini mussel, and grilled summer squash were DELICIOUS.  Drinks were good too.  Just don't be alarm to see the bill in the end.  All these small numbers on your tap add up faster than you think. Last note, Coda provides a really relax atmosphere to hang with friends/significant others, and possibly too relax.  I'll come back again....and I think I'll enjoy it more after I turn 30.

As Nightlife... WHEN: Thursday night "Nighlife" 6pm, with alcohol, and DJs. And it's not like it takes that long to look thru the whole museum. All in all- it's kind of like Monterey Aquarium, plus good music, plus get to drink alcohol, for 1/3rd the price. Not bad for a date or something. HIGHLIGHTS: 1.) Albino Alligator!!!! = Wtf!!! Never seen or even heard of one! So cool! 2.) All the weird aquatic creatures, like the leafy sea horses haha HATED: 1.) Planetarium = Omg 3rd Thurs of the month, it's so boring! Well if it was 15 min it woulda been amusing. Seeing how our earth looks like in comparison to the galaxy and such. BUT- it was a WHOLE HOUR LONG! wtf! It honestly felt like being stuck in lecture, ughh god knows how much I don't want to be back in boring lectures again. And we were sitting in the center so we couldn't escape without all eyes on us, and the rows were too narrow to walk by everyone anyways. Sighhhh... sooo irritated...  so duped.. 2.) SUPER crowded later in the evening ATMOSPHERE: The museum is pretty nice! Love the design of the deck with the stingrays swimming underneath. The two globes, one for the "rainforest" and one for the planetarium. MUSIC: The music was pretty good..but too bad it was a science museum and not a rave/club. Haha The museum wasn't really the atmosphere to be dancing or partying in. They shoulda played more relaxing loungey background music. CROWD: Mixed crowd, pretty casual, kind of like business casual, with the few girls who confused this place with a real club lol. At first closer to 6pm was perfect, not that many people, and was able to get the planetarium tickets. But at 8pm it was CROWDED, was bumping into people left and right. And everyone was blocking my view of everything. Bleh.

I have been here a couple of times; both times I believe I was a little drunk. This is a great place for a fun loving group. I will admit I was a little hesitant in wanting to come here. I am very glad that I did. And yes I have seen the infamous Nanner Pudding! Drink PBRs when you are here. Cheap cover charge. Bring cash. Bring sanitation soap. Bring your best friends who have never been.
