I have a fancy for making lists of random things hence my pro and con list of 181: Pros 1) Non stop good music that will force your feet to keep moving all night. 2) Not too crowded so no spilt drinks or drunk girls falling on you. Cons 1) The crowd. Lesson learned, the TL doesn't draw in a good looking bunch, nor well dressed individuals, nor guys who get the hint after being rejected 4 times until they are physically threatened the 5th time. Seriously? Wow. 2) The drinks. You can easily finish one in 2 sips, they come in a cheap plastic cup, and will cost about $10. 3) Ladies restrooms are usually in better condition then the mens, and if this is true at 181, I feel sorry for the men. 181 management, hello you have doors missing! 4) The floor gets extremely slippery by the end of the night so you might end up on the floor even if you haven't had one drink too many. 5) $20 cover charge and the place isn't even open till 4am as advertised. 6)  Leaving this place is a mission in itself. We attempted to hail a cab for 15 min without success, but luckily were rescued. You do not want to be tipsy, rockin heels and a miniskirt, and be stranded at 2am in the TL! If you're naive (I'd  say you're just stubborn) and think your experience will be better than mine, just make sure you take a group of friends and a huge caseload of pepper spray with you.

Since I don't remember much of what happened beyond my first 2 of 6 hours here, I can't give too detailed of a description, but I can accurately outline how I got to not remembering... I went for brunch on a Sunday morning.  I (foolishly in hindsite) did not realize that I was not going to Triple Crown to chow down on some serious eggs benedict rather we were on our way there to meet up with our fellow day partiers for a day party- we were clearly not on the train that day. Although the brunch menu was sparce, maybe 4 choices, I was impressed with what I got once I finally got served however we arrived at 11am, and the kitchen wasn't even ready until noon.  Which I'd normally be pissed about however they fed us bottomless mimosas until the food arrived.  And then for another 3 hours after we ate the food.  Hence the not remembering. Good drinking spot, good Sunday day party spot (post End Up anyone?) maybe not the best brunch eating spot... and horrible cheap champagne hangover the next day.

GREAT MARGARITAS!!!! I have been here a couple of times for dinner & drinks and for a birthday party and every time the service has been phenomenal!!! There is a cover for the club but if you are having dinner the cover is waived. I have had the taquitos, carne asada plate and the combo platter all very good and they actually tasted authentic! There is always plenty of free chips & salsa and order the guacamole it's one of the best I've had. My all time favorite thing to have there is the margaritas especially the Pomegranate freaking delicious!!!! I have never made it to the dance floor since I'm a total people watcher but the music they play is right on for the crowd. They play cumbias, merengue, salsa, reggaeton and rock en espanol. The dance floor is kinda small but nobody seems to mind they're to busy bumping & grinding. Cool spot for a great margarita!
