Pure located in the Inman Park neighborhood of Atlanta is becoming a favorite of mine. I've visited twice in the past few months. This place really reminds me of my favorite bar in Chicago, The Bar Celano. They have garage doors instead of walls that can be raised for an alfresco dining experience. So far I haven't had a chance to visit at night to see if they actually lift the doors. The chips are fresh and amazing as well is the quesadilla. Instead of grilling, the quesadillas are deep fried for gooey goodness. The portion is huge and there is no way I can or should finish my entire meal.

Came here for Web 2.0 Ignite. It was a lot of fun and the place looked cool. I particularly liked the bathroom sinks. -1 star for the black hole toilets. I couldn't see anything b/c it was so dark and was scared I'd fall in! haha.

I adored the place. It could be that the scalper who HANDED us (for free!!) 5th row center aisle tickets set the mood right. Seriously, he was like "i ain't gonna sell them now, you can HAVE them". Somebody should've told him that Daughtry had two opening acts and people were still coming. Whatever, it made the scary side of downtown LA bearable. I can handle the Staples Center glitz and glam downtown, but this is the real thing. The bar was cash only, and they weren't able to make a Mai Tai. I got a cranberry/vodka for $7. Got what I paid for. The bathrooms are downstairs along with an empty (when I was there) living room. The venue seemed rich in history, but didn't exactly feel alive. Regardless, it was a great small venue with good acoustics.
